Matariki pendant, fine silver highlighted with 23.5ct gold
20 x 20 mm, on a 45cm sterling silver chain
This piece is cast in fine silver using the ancient technique of lost wax casting. It is then hand finshed in our studio with 23.5ct gold applied using the Korean process know as Keum Boo.
Keum Boo is a delicate and intricate process where fine gold is fused with the silver resulting in a much thicker plating of gold than regular gold plating.
These are made to order, so please allow up to two weeks for the item to be shipped. Please get in touch if you require them more urgently and I will see what I can do.
