We spend several months of the year on Petrel patrol. A small team of dedicated and committed volunteers walk the streets, beaches and river mouths every night to rescue fledgling petrels that have been disorientated by the light pollution created by humans. It is a huge and important contribution to the survival of this vunerable and rare species.
